Trouble detection condition<\/td>– When performing treatment (program) to the firmware controlling the MFP controller, a malfunction is detected when the control sequence went abnormal.

– In almost cases, when the control sequence goes abnormal in certain conditions and on certain timing, it results in malfunction.<\/td><\/tr>

Procedure<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. If the trouble code “C-E301” has occurred, check the version of the MFP firmware and the version of the loadable device driver for an installed authentication unit for proper combination.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. If the combination of the MFP firmware and the loadable device driver is improper, install the latest MFP firmware, then install the latest loadable device driver.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Execute [Self-diag. (Full)].<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. For details, see \u201cTROUBLESHOOTING USING SELF-DIAG. (FULL)<\/a>\u201d.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. If the diagnosis result of [Self-diag. (Full)] is OK, since no hardware parts related troubles occur, retrieve the \u201cMachine Management List\u201d and send inquiries to KM also with the information.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
