Trouble typeC0202: Tray 1 feeder up/down abnormality

Trouble detection conditionThe tray 1 upper limit sensor (PS6) is not turned ON (blocked) even after the set period of time has elapsed after the paper lift-up operation for the drawer began.
Trouble isolationTray 1
Relevant electrical parts– Tray 1 upper limit sensor (PS6)
– Tray 1 lift-up motor (M6)
– Paper feed/transport drive board (PFTDB)
– CPU board (CPUB)
– Base board (BASEB)

Procedure

  1. Remove the tray and check to see if a piece of paper is not left inside the machine.
  2. Check the connector between M6-PFTDB CN25 for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  3. Check the connector of M6 for proper drive coupling and correct as necessary.
  4. Check the connector between PS6-relay CN145B-PFTDB CN14 for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  5. Check CPUB for proper installation and correct as necessary.
  6. PS6 I/O check, sensor check
    • Control signal: PFTDB CN14-3 (ON)
    • Location of electrical component: 12-P
  7. M6 load check
    • Check code: 23
    • Multi code: 4
    • Control signal: PFTDB CN25-10 to 11
    • Location of electrical component: 3-X
  8. Replace M6.
  9. PFTDB F22 conduction check.
  10. Replace PFTDB.
  11. Replace CPUB.
  12. Replace BASEB.
