A: An application which can be used to simplify the troubleshooting workflow. A user can research a code for information, troubleshooting steps, and related parts including part numbers. This eliminates the need to obtain these details from multiple outside sources.

Q: What models are included in bizhub Troubleshooter?
A: At this time, bizhub 287/227, 364e/284e/224e, 554e/454e, 368/308, 558/458, 958/808, 658e/558e/458e/368e/308e, 754e/654e, C364/C284/C224, C554/C454, C754/C654, C364e/C284e/C224e, C554e/C454e, C754e/C654e, C287/C227, C368/C308/C258, C658/C558/C458, C759/C659, C360i/C300i/C250i, C4000i/C3300i, C4050i/C3350i, C3320i.

Q: What types of codes are available in bizhub Troubleshooter?
A: Trouble and Jam codes.

Q: What sources provide the information included in bizhub Troubleshooter?
A: Device codes and troubleshooting steps are sourced from Konica Minolta Field Service manuals. Part numbers are sourced from model and accessories’ parts manuals.

Q: What methods are available to search?
A: There are two methods available, keyword search and manual selection from “code trees”.

Q: What do I do if a keyword search does not return results related to a code?
A: First, verify that a valid trouble or jam code has been entered. Next, attempt to use the drop down menu below the keyword search field to select the appropriate model.  The code should be found within the “code trees” displayed for that model.
** In some cases a code beginning with CD3 related to “Nonvolatile data error” or CDC related to “Trouble related to security” is found in bizhub Troubleshooter as CD3## or CDC## followed by a model (Ex: CD3## C658 or CDC##C658). This is how these codes are grouped in the Field Service Manuals.
