Trouble detection condition	• The bypass upper limit sensor (PS35) is not turned ON (blocked) even after the bypass lift-up motor (M26) rotates for a given period of time after the position is switched from stand by position at lift-up plate to the feed position. • The bypass lower limit sensor (PS36) is not turned ON (blocked) even after the bypass lift-up motor (M26) rotates for a given period of time after the position is switched from stand by position at lift-up plate to the feed position.

Relevant electrical parts	• Bypass lift-up motor (M26) • Bypass upper limit sensor (PS35) • Bypass lower limit sensor (PS36) • Paper feed/transport drive board (PFTDB) • MFP board (MFPB)

 Procedure

1. Check the connector between M26-relay CN195B-PFTDB CN9 for proper connection and correct as necessary.
2. Check the connector of M26 for proper drive coupling and correct as necessary.
3. Check the connector between PS35-relay CN195B-PFTDB CN9 for proper connection and correct as necessary.
4. Check the connector between PS36-relay CN180-relay CN195A-PFTDB CN3 for proper connection and correct as necessary.
5. PS35 I/O check, sensor check
   • Control signal: PFTDB CN9-12 (ON)
   • Location of electrical component: 12-P
6. PS36 operation check
   • Control signal: PFTDB CN3-13 (ON)
   • Location of electrical component: 11-P
7. M26 operation check
   • Control signal: PFTDB CN9-1 to 2
   • Location of electrical component: 11 to 12-P
8. Replace M26. (Part# A0P0R75200)
9. PFTDB F17 conduction check
10. Replace PFTDB. (Part# A796H00200)
11. Replace MFPB. (Part# A796H02003)
