Trouble typeC2152: Transfer belt fault at initial position return

Trouble detection conditionThe state of the 1st transfer pressure sensor/K (PS51) or the 1st transfer pressure sensor/YMC (PS52) is not changed within a predetermined period of time during an initial position return.
Trouble isolation–
Relevant electrical parts-Transfer belt unit
-1st transfer pressure motor (M21)
-1st transfer pressure sensor/K (PS51)
-1st transfer pressure sensor/YMC (PS52)
-Process drive board (PDB)MFP board (MFPB)

 Procedure

  1. Check the connector between M21-relay CN428-PDB CN7 for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  2. Check the connector of M21 for proper drive coupling and correct as necessary.
  3. Check the transfer roller pressure gear of the transfer belt unit for proper engagement and the roller for rolling operation, and correct any faulty motion.
  4. Check the connector between PS51-relay CN297-MFPB CN4E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  5. Check the connector between PS52-relay CN297-MFPB CN4E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  6. PS51 I/O check, sensor check
    • Control signal: MFPB CN4E<A>-1 (ON)
    • Location of electrical component: 15-C
  7. PS52 I/O check, sensor check
    • Control signal: MFPB CN4E<A>-4 (ON)
    • Location of electrical component: 15-C
  8. M21 load check
    • Check code: 24
    • Multi code: 1, 2, 3, 4
    • Control signal: PDB CN7-5 to 8
    • Location of electrical component: 17-P
  9. Replace M21. (Part# A02EM10C01)
  10. Replace the transfer belt unit. (Part# A8JER70111)
  11. PDB F2 conduction check
  12. Replace PDB. (Part# A8JEH00400)
  13. MFPB F2E conduction check
  14. Replace MFPB. (Part# A8JEH02002)
