Trouble typeC2204: Waste toner transport motor failure to turn

Trouble detection conditionThe turning detection sensor detects failure to turn for a predetermined number of times while the motor is turning.
Trouble isolation–
Relevant electrical parts-Waste toner transport motor (M20)
-Waste toner box set sensor (PS100)
-Expansion control board (EXCB)
-CPU board (CPUB)
-Base board (BASEB)

Procedure

  1. Clean the PS100 if it has toner or paper dust, etc.
  2. Replacing the waste toner box.
  3. Check the connector between M20-relay CN92-EXCB CN10EX for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  4. Check the connector of M20 for proper drive coupling and correct as necessary.
  5. Check the connector between PS100-EXCB CN8EX for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  6. Check the connector between EXCB CN2EX-BASEB CN12E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  7. Check CPUB for proper installation and correct as necessary.
  8. PS100 I/O check, sensor check
    • Control signal: EXCB CN8EX-6 (ON)
    • Location of electrical component: 20-X
  9. M20 load check
    • Check code: 44
    • Multi code: 1
    • Control signal: EXCB CN10EX-12 to 15
    • Location of electrical component: 22-P
  10. Replace M20. (Part# A7PUM10600)
  11. Replace EXCB. (Part# AA2JH00500)
  12. Replace CPUB. (C450i Part# AA7RH02P02 / C550i Part# AA7PH02P01 / C650i Part# AA7NH02P03)
  13. Replace BASEB. (Part# AA7NH02102)
