Trouble detection conditionWhen sampling data is determined in TC ratio calculation control, TCR sensor output is lower than a predetermined value for a predetermined number of times in a row even though there is toner in the sub hopper.

 Procedure

  1. Perform image troubleshooting procedure if image density is low.
  2. Reinstall the imaging unit.
  3. Reinstall the toner cartridge.
  4. Check the connector between M9-relay CN258-PDB CN8 for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  5. Check the connector between M10-relay CN258-PDB CN8 for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  6. Check the connector between M11-relay CN258-PDB CN8 for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  7. Check the connector between M13-relay CN320-relay CN330-PDB CN7 for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  8. Check the connector between M14-relay CN321-relay CN428-PDB CN7 for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  9. Check the connector of M9, M10, M11, M13, M14 for proper drive coupling and correct as necessary.
  10. Check the connector between RS/C-relay CN291-relay CN265-MFPB CN4E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  11. Check the connector between RS/M-relay CN246-relay CN265-MFPB CN4E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  12. Check the connector between RS/Y-relay CN247-relay CN265-MFPB CN4E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  13. RS/C, RS/M, RS/Y I/O check, sensor check
    • Control signal: MFPB CN4E<B>-6 (RS/C), MFPB CN4E<B>-8 (RS/M), MFPB CN4E<B>-10 (RS/Y)
    • Location of electrical component: 16 to 17-C
  14. M9, M10, M11 operation check (At this time, IU must be non-installation.)
    • Control signal: PDB CN8-1 to 4 (M9), PDB CN8-5 to 8 (M10), PDB CN8-9 to 12 (M11)
    • Location of electrical component: 15 to 16-X
  15. M13, M14 operation check
    • Control signal: PDB CN7-9 to 12 (M13), PDB CN7-1 to 4 (M14)
    • Location of electrical component: 17 to 18-P
  16. Replace M9, M10, M11. (Part# A00JM12100)
  17. Replace M13. (Part# 9314130021)
  18. Replace M14. (Part# 9314130021)
  19. Replace the corresponding imaging unit. (Part# A9K70ED)
  20. PDB F1 or F2 conduction check
  21. Replace PDB. (Part# A8JEH00400)
  22. Replace MFPB.(Part# A8JEH02002)
