Trouble detection conditionTC ratio in the developing unit, which is determined by toner replenishing amount control mechanism, is a predetermined value or more for a given number of times consecutively.

 Procedure

  1. Reinstall the imaging unit.
  2. Reinstall the toner cartridge.
  3. Check the connector between RS/C-relay CN291-relay CN265-MFPB CN4E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  4. Check the connector between RS/M-relay CN246-relay CN265-MFPB CN4E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  5. Check the connector between RS/Y-relay CN247-relay CN265-MFPB CN4E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  6. RS/C, RS/M, RS/Y I/O check, sensor check
    • Control signal: MFPB CN4E<B>-6 (RS/C), MFPB CN4E<B>-8 (RS/M), MFPB CN4E<B>-10 (RS/Y)
    • Location of electrical component: 16 to 17-C
  7. Replace the corresponding imaging unit. (Part# A9K708D)
  8. Replace MFPB. (Part# A8JEH02002)
  9. Replace the sub hopper unit. (Part# A2X0R71433)
