Trouble typeC3104: Fusing shutter failure

Trouble detection condition-The fusing shutter home sensor (PS47) is not turned OFF (unblocked) even after the lapse of a predetermined period of time after the fusing shutter motor (M15) is activated when the shutter is completely opened.

-The fusing shutter home sensor (PS47) is not turned ON (blocked) even after the lapse of a predetermined period of time after the fusing shutter motor (M15) is activated when the shutter is completely closed.
Trouble isolation–
Relevant electrical parts-Fusing shutter motor (M15)
-Fusing shutter home sensor (PS47)
-Expansion control board (EXCB)
-CPU board (CPUB)
-Base board (BASEB)

Procedure

  1. Check the connector between M15-relay CN164-EXCB CN14EX for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  2. Check the connector of M15 for proper drive coupling and correct as necessary.
  3. Check the connector between PS47-relay CN9-EXCB CN13EX for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  4. Check CPUB for proper installation and correct as necessary.
  5. PS47 I/O check, sensor check
    • Control signal: EXCB CN13EX-12 (ON)
    • Location of electrical component: 16-X
  6. M15 load check
    • Check code: 45
    • Multi code: 10, 11
    • Control signal: EXCB CN14EX-15 to 18
    • Location of electrical component: 18-P
  7. Replace M15. (Part# A7PUM10700)
  8. Replace EXCB. (Part# AA7NH00500)
  9. Replace CPUB. (Part# ACKNH02P03)
  10. Replace BASEB. (Part# ACKNH02101)
