Trouble type | C392B: Fusing sensor wire breaks detection (difference of temperature) C392C: Fusing sensor wire breaks abnormality (heating detection) C392D: Fusing sensor wire breaks abnormality (heating compensation) C392E: Fusing sensor wire breaks abnormality (heating GND) |
Rank | A |
Trouble detection condition | C392B: The difference between the temperature corrected by the heating roller thermistor/Edg (TH1) and the temperature detected by the heating roller thermistor/Ctr (TH2) exceeds a predetermined value. C392C: The heating detection thermistor AD value is higher than the threshold value longer than predetermined period of time. C392D: The heating compensation thermistor AD value is higher than the threshold value longer than predetermined period of time. C392E: The heating detection thermistor AD value and the heating compensation thermistor AD value are higher than the threshold value longer than predetermined period of time. |
Trouble isolation | – |
Relevant electrical parts | -Fusing unit -Heating roller thermistor/Edg (TH1) -Heating roller thermistor/Ctr (TH2) -DC power supply (DCPS) -CPU board (CPUB) -Base board (BASEB) |
Procedure
- Check the fusing unit for correct installation (whether it is secured in position).
- Check the open/close operation of the right door.
- Check the connector between the fusing unit-relay CN3-BASEB CN10E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
- Check the connector between the fusing unit-relay CN2-DCPS CN2 for proper connection and correct as necessary.
- Check CPUB for proper installation and correct as necessary.
- Replace the fusing unit. (Part# ACT9R70100)
- Replace CPUB. (Part# ACTAH01003)
- Replace BASEB. (Part# ACTAH02014)
- DCPS FU181 conduction check
- Replace DCPS. (Part# AAJRR70600)
