Trouble typeC6755: CIS gain adjustment failure (When DF-704 is installed)

Trouble detection conditionAfter the gain adjustment is performed at the start-up, the peak value of the output data is lower than a given value.
Trouble isolationScanner
Relevant electrical parts• CIS module (CIS) 
• Dual scan image processing board (DSIPB) 
• CIS power supply (CISPU) 
• MFP board (MFPB)

 Procedure

  1. Correct the harness connection between CIS and DSIPB if faulty.
  2. Correct the harness connection between CIS J222-CISPU J2 if faulty.
  3. Check for possible extraneous light and correct as necessary.
  4. Clean the back side reading glass and the shading sheet if dirty.
  5. Replace CIS. (Part# A85GM70001)
  6. Replace DSIPB. (Part# A7PUH02A01)
  7. Replace CISPU. (Part# A3CEPP4Y00)
  8. Replace MFPB. (Part# A9HJH02102)
