Trouble typeC6755: CIS gain adjustment failure

Trouble detection conditionAfter the gain adjustment is performed at the start-up, the peak value of the output data is lower than a given value.
Trouble isolationScanner
Relevant electrical parts• CIS module (CIS) 
• Dual scan image processing board (DSIPB) 
• DF power supply (DFPU) 
• MFP board (MFPB)

 Procedure

  1. Correct the harness connection between CIS J101-DSIPB CN2 if faulty.
  2. Correct the harness connection between CIS J102-DFPU CN2 if faulty.
  3. Check for possible extraneous light and correct as necessary.
  4. Clean the back side reading glass and the shading sheet if dirty.
  5. Replace CIS. (Part# A782R70200)
  6. DFPU ICP1 conduction check.
  7. Replace DFPU. (Part# A3CKH00200)
  8. Replace DSIPB. (Part# A9HGH02A00)
  9. Replace MFPB. (658e/558e Part# AA6RH02103 / 458e Part# AA6UH02101)
