Trouble typeC7114: Tray 4 lift-up motor failure

Trouble detection conditionAfter starting the motor, an error is detected for the malfunction detection signal.
Trouble isolationTray 4
Relevant electrical parts– Tray 4 lift-up motor (M24)
– Paper feed/transport drive board (PFTDB)

Procedure

  1. Check the connector between M24-PFTDB CN15 for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  2. Check the connector of M24 for proper drive coupling and correct as necessary.
  3. M24 conduction check.
    • Control signal: PFTDB CN15-2 (REM)
    • Location of electrical component: 9-X
  4. Replace M24.
  5. Replace PFTDB.
