Trouble typeC7138: Toner transport motor failure

Trouble detection conditionAfter starting the motor, an error is detected for the malfunction detection signal.
Trouble isolation–
Relevant electrical parts-Toner transport motor (M4)
-Base board (BASEB)

Procedure

  1. Check the connector between M4-BASEB CN11E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  2. Check the connector of M4 for proper drive coupling and correct as necessary.
  3. M4 conduction check
    • Control signal: BASEB CN11E-1 to 4
    • Location of electrical component: 4-C
  4. Replace M4. (Part# A7PUM10700)
  5. Replace BASEB.
    4750i (Part# ACT9H02013)
    4050i (Part# ACT9H02002)
