Trouble typeC7210: Tray3 transport clutch failure

Trouble detection conditionAfter starting the clutch, an error is detected for the malfunction detection signal.
Trouble isolationTray 3
Relevant electrical parts– Tray3 transport clutch (CL6)
– Paper feed/transport drive board (PFTDB)

Procedure

  1. Check the connector between CL6-relay CN119-relay CN193-relay CN113B-PFTDB CN17 for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  2. Check the connector of CL6 for proper drive coupling and correct as necessary.
  3. CL6 conduction check.
    • Control signal: PFTDB CN17-11 (ON)
    • Location of electrical component: 6-X
  4. Replace CL6.
  5. Replace PFTDB.
