Trouble typeC7310: DV cooling fan failure

Trouble detection conditionAfter starting the fan, an error is detected for the malfunction detection signal.
Trouble isolation–
Relevant electrical parts-DV cooling fan (FM19)
-Base board (BASEB)

Procedure

  1. Check the connector between FM19-relay CN804-BASEB CN37E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  2. Check the connector of FM19 for proper drive coupling and correct as necessary.
  3. FM19 conduction check.
    • Control signal: BASEB CN37E-1 (REM), BASEB CN37E-3 (LOCK)
    • Location of electrical component: 24-K
  4. Replace FM19. (Part# A93EM10600)
  5. Replace BASEB. (Part# ACV7H02101)
