Trouble typeC7317: Paper exit cooling fan failure

Trouble detection conditionAfter starting the fan, an error is detected for the malfunction detection signal.
Trouble isolation–
Relevant electrical parts-Paper exit cooling fan (FM23)
-Expansion control board (EXCB)

Procedure

  1. Check the connector between FM23-relay CN710-EXCB CN15EX for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  2. Check the connector of FM23 for proper drive coupling and correct as necessary.
  3. FM23 conduction check.
    • Control signal: EXCB CN15EX-4 (REM), EXCB CN15EX-6 (LOCK)
    • Location of electrical component: 26-X
  4. Replace FM23. (Contact Konica Minolta technical support if this needs to be replaced.)
  5. Replace EXCB. (Part# AA2JH00500)
