Trouble detection conditionThe fuse detection unit detected an error for a predetermined time.
Trouble isolation–
Relevant electrical parts– Bypass lift-up motor (M28)
– 2nd transfer pressure motor (M3)
– Paper feed/transport drive board (PFTDB)

Procedure

  1. PFTDB F30 conduction check.
  2. Check the connector between M28-relay CN195B-PFTDB CN9 for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  3. Check the connector between M3-relay CN901-relay CN271B-PFTDB CN8 for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  4. M28 load check
    • Check code: 23
    • Multi code: 1, 2
    • Control signal: PFTDB CN9-1, 2
    • Location of electrical component: 16-P
  5. Replace M28.
  6. M3 load check
    • Check code: 24
    • Multi code: 4, 5
    • Control signal: PFTDB CN8-1, 2
    • Location of electrical component: 6-P
  7. Replace M3.
  8. Replace PFTDB.
