Trouble typeC762D: Power line B13 error

Trouble detection conditionThe fuse detection unit detected an error for a predetermined time.
Trouble isolation–
Relevant electrical parts– Reverse paper cooling fan/1 (FM4)
– Reverse paper cooling fan/2 (FM5)
– Paper feed/transport drive board (PFTDB)

Procedure

  1. PFTDB F41 conduction check.
  2. Check the connector between FM4-relay CN699-relay CN280-relay CN271A-PFTDB CN27 for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  3. Check the connector between FM5-relay CN700-relay CN280-relay CN271A-PFTDB CN27 for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  4. FM4 load check
    • Check code: 42
    • Multi code: 14, 15
    • Control signal: PFTDB CN27-1 to 3
    • Location of electrical component: 7-P
  5. Replace FM4.
  6. FM5 load check
    • Check code: 42
    • Multi code: 16, 17
    • Control signal: PFTDB CN27-5 to 7
    • Location of electrical component: 7-P
  7. Replace FM5.
  8. Replace PFTDB.
