Trouble detection conditionC9402: The average output value of the CCD sensor with the scanner
at its standby position is a predetermined value or more at the end of a scan job.

Relevant electrical parts•LED exposure unit
• Flat cable (LED exposure unit)
• CCD board (CCDB)
• Scanner drive board (SCDB)
• MFP board (MFPB)

 Procedure

  1. Correct the harness connection between SCDB CN3-LU201 if faulty.
  2. Check the connector between SCDB CN2-MFPB CN6E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  3. Check the connector between CCDB PJ3-MFPB CN1 for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  4. Replace the LED exposure unit. (Part# A7PUR71000)
  5. Replace CCDB. (Part # A795R71000)
  6. Replace SCDB. ( Part # A796H01A00)
  7. Replace MFPB. (658e/558e)(Part# AA6RH02103 ) ( 458e )(Part # AA6UH02101 )
