Trouble typeCD050: Hard disk recovery timeout

Trouble detection conditionThe hard disk fails to recover from the power save mode within the predetermined period of time.
Trouble isolation–
Relevant electrical parts• MFP board (MFPB)
• Hard disk (A) (HDD (A))
• Hard disk (B) (HDD (B): HD-524)

Procedure

  1. Check the connector between hard disk (A)-MFPB CN20, CN26 for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  2. Check the connector between hard disk (B)-MFPB CN7, CN27 for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  3. Reinstall the hard disk.
  4. Format the hard disk.
  5. Replace the hard disk. (HDD (A) (bizhub 368/308 / bizhub 558/458) / HDD (B)) (HDD(A) 558/458/368/308 Part# A5C1M72H00 / HDD (B) Part# A2X0M72C00)
