Trouble typeCD231: The FAX board is mounted but not containing any FAX memory.

Trouble detection condition– The FAX board is mounted, but the FAX DIMM is not included.

– The FAX board is not mounted when it is set to mount setting at Service Mode.
Trouble isolation–
Relevant electrical parts-CPU board (CPUB)
-Base board (BASEB)
-FAX board (FAXB)

Procedure

  1. Check the FAX board for proper installation and correct as necessary.
  2. Check CPUB for proper installation and correct as necessary.
  3. Replace CPUB. (Part# ACT9H01003)
  4. Replace BASEB.
    4750i (Part# ACT9H02013)
    4050i (Part# ACT9H02002)
