Trouble type• CDF51: ASIC image version failure (back side)

Trouble detection conditionCommunication error is detected between the MFP board (MFPB) and the dual scan image processing board (DSIPB).
Trouble isolation–
Relevant electrical parts• MFP board (MFPB)
• Dual scan image processing board (DSIPB)

Procedure

  1. Check the connector between MFPB CN22-DSIPB CN1 for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  2. Rewrite the firmware.
  3. Replace DSIPB. 558/458 (Part# A9HGH02A00)
  4. Replace MFPB. (558 Part# A9HGH02102 / 458 Part# A9HHH02102 / 368/308 Part# A9HJH02102)
