Trouble detection condition
When performing treatment (program) to the firmware controlling the MFP controller, a malfunction is detected when the control sequence went abnormal.In almost cases, when the control sequence goes abnormal in certain conditions and on certain timing, it results in malfunction.

Procedure
When the trouble code “C-E301” occurs, check that if the combination of the version of the MFP firmware and the version of the installed authentication unit loadable device driver is proper.
If the combination of the MFP firmware and the loadable device driver is improper, install the latest MFP firmware, then install the latest loadable device driver.
Execute [Self-diag. (Full)].

If the diagnosis result of [Self-diag. (Full)] is OK, since no hardware parts related troubles occur, retrieve the “Machine Management List” and send inquiries to KM also with the information.
