Malfunction typePaper temperature sensor failure

Malfunction detection timing– After turning ON, when the detected temperature of the temperature/humidity sensor (TEM/HUMS) is 10°C and above, the detected temperature of the paper temperature sensor (TH8) is 0°C

– Turning OFF or entry in sleep mode resets the warning.
Relevant parts– Paper temperature sensor (TH8)
– CPU board (CPUB)
– Base board (BASEB)

Procedure

  1. Check the connector between TH8-relay CN267-BASEB CN31E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  2. Check CPUB for proper installation and correct as necessary.
  3. Replace the paper temperature sensor (TH8).
  4. Replace CPUB.
  5. Replace BASEB.
