Malfunction detection timingThe fan lock signal is detected continuously for a predetermined period of time while the fan is turning.

-CPU board (CPUB)
-Base board (BASEB)

Procedure

  1. Check the connector between FM23-relay CN711-relay CN710-EXCB CN15EX, FM24-relay CN404-relay CN403-relay CN401-EXCB CN8EX for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  2. Check the fan for possible overload and correct as necessary.
  3. FM23 conduction check.
    • Control signal: EXCB CN15EX-4 (REM), EXCB CN15EX-6 (LOCK)
    • Location of electrical component: 26-X
  4. FM24 conduction check.
    • Control signal: EXCB CN8EX-11 (REM), EXCB CN8EX-13 (LOCK)
    • Location of electrical component: 21-X
  5. Replace the defective fan. (FM23 (Part# A93EM10000) / FM24 (Part# A93EM10000)
  6. Replace EXCB. (Part# AC74H00501)
