Trouble typeC5355: Toner cartridge cooling fan failure to turn

Trouble detection conditionThe fan lock signal remains Low for a predetermined continuous period of time while the fan is turning.
Trouble isolation–
Relevant electrical parts-Toner cartridge cooling fan (FM4)
-Expansion control board (EXCB)
-CPU board (CPUB)
-Base board (BASEB)

Procedure

  1. Check the connector between FM4-relay CN78-EXCB CN14EX for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  2. Check the fan for possible overload and correct as necessary.
  3. Check the connector between EXCB CN2EX-BASEB CN12E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  4. Check CPUB for proper installation and correct as necessary.
  5. FM4 load check
    • Check code: 42
    • Multi code: 2, 3
    • Control signal: EXCB CN14EX-4 (REM), EXCB CN14EX-6 (LOCK)
    • Location of electrical component: 17-P
  6. Replace FM4. (Part# A93EM10000)
  7. Replace EXCB. (Part# ACV7H02P02)
  8. Replace CPUB. (Part# ACKNH02P03)
  9. Replace BASEB. (Part# ACV7H02101)
