Trouble typeC7206: Bypass tray paper feed clutch failure

Trouble detection conditionAfter starting the clutch, an error is detected for the malfunction detection signal.
Trouble isolation–
Relevant electrical partsBypass tray paper feed clutch (CL2)Base board (BASEB)

Procedure

  1. Check the connector between CL2-relay CN46-BASEB CN23E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  2. Check the connector of CL2 for proper drive coupling and correct as necessary.
  3. CL2 conduction check
    • Control signal: BASEB CN23E-10 (ON)
    • Location of electrical component: 9-K
  4. Replace CL2.
  5. Replace BASEB.
