Trouble detection conditionThe tray 4 upper limit sensor (PS27) is not turned ON (blocked) even after the set period of time has elapsed after the paper lift-up operation for the drawer began.
Trouble isolationTray 4
Relevant electrical parts-Tray 4 upper limit sensor (PS27)
-Tray 4 lift-up motor (M24)
-Paper feed/transport drive board (PFTDB)

 Procedure

  1. Remove the tray and check to see if a piece of paper is not left inside the machine.
  2. Check the connector between M24-PFTDB CN15 for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  3. Check the connector of M24 for proper drive coupling and correct as necessary.
  4. Check the connector between PS27-relay CN194-relay CN121B-PFTDB CN19 for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  5. PS27 I/O check, sensor check
    • Control signal: PFTDB CN19-6 (ON)
    • Location of electrical component: 8-X
  6. M24 load check
    • Check code: 23
    • Multi code: 7
    • Control signal: PFTDB CN15-1 to 2
    • Location of electrical component: 9-X
  7. Replace M24. (Part# A2X0M12101)
  8. PFTDB F12 conduction check
  9. Replace PFTDB. (Part# A795H00200)
