| Trouble detection condition | • The bypass lift-up position sensor (PS26) is not turned OFF (unblock) even after the paper feed motor (M22) rotates for a given period of time after the position is switched from stand by position at lift-up plate to the feed position. • The bypass lift-up position sensor (PS26) is not turned ON (blocked) even after the paper feed motor (M22) rotates for a given period of time after the position is switched from stand by position at lift-up plate to the feed position. |

Procedure
- Check the connector between M22-MFPB CN16E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
- Check the connector of M22 for proper drive coupling and correct as necessary.
- Check the connector between PS26-relay CN19-MFPB CN18E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
- Check the connector between SD1-relay CN21-relay CN19-MFPB CN18E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
- PS26 I/O check, sensor check
- Control signal: MFPB CN18E-13 (ON)
- Location of electrical component: 22-J
- SD1 load check
- Check code: 23
- Multi code: 3
- Control signal: MFPB CN18E-10 (ON)
- Location of electrical component: 22-J
- M22 load check
- Check code: 28
- Multi code: 25, 26, 27, 28
- Control signal: MFPB CN16E-1 to 4
- Location of electrical component: 13-C
- Replace M22. (Part# A61DM10000)
- MFPB ICP3E conduction check
- Replace MFPB. (Part# AA6VH02101)
