Trouble typeC2258: Cleaning brush motor turning at abnormal timing

Trouble detection conditionThe motor lock signal remains LOW for a predetermined continuous period of time while the motor remains stationary.
Trouble isolation–
Relevant electrical parts-Transfer belt unit (cleaner unit)
-Cleaning brush motor (M38)
-MFP board (MFPB)

 Procedure

  1. Check the connector between M38-MFPB CN24E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  2. Check the connector of M38 for proper drive coupling and correct as necessary.
  3. Check the cleaner unit gear of the transfer belt unit for rotation and correct any faulty rotation.
  4. M38 load check
    • Check code: 47
    • Multi code: 1, 2, 3, 4
    • Control signal: MFPB CN24E-1 (DC24V), MFPB CN24E-4 (START/STOP)
    • Location of electrical component: 8 to 9-K
  5. Replace M38. (Part# A796M10002)
  6. Replace the transfer belt unit. (Part# A8JER70111)
  7. MFPB F5E conduction check
  8. Replace MFPB. (Part# A8JEH02002)
