Trouble typeC2353: IU cooling fan/out failure to turn

Trouble detection conditionThe fan lock signal remains HIGH for a predetermined continuous period of time while the fan is turning.
Trouble isolation–
Relevant electrical parts– IU cooling fan/out (FM15)
– PH relay board (PHRYB)
– CPU board (CPUB)
– Base board (BASEB)

Procedure

  1. Check the connector between FM15-PHRYB CN5 for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  2. Check the fan for possible overload and correct as necessary.
  3. Check CPUB for proper installation and correct as necessary.
  4. FM15 load check
    • Check code: 42
    • Multi code: 31
    • Control signal: PHRYB CN5-1 (DRIVE), PHRYB CN5-3 (LOCK)
    • Location of electrical component: 3-B
  5. Replace FM15.
  6. Replace PHRYB.
  7. PHRYB F2 conduction check.
  8. Replace CPUB.
  9. Replace BASEB.
