Trouble type	C5355: Toner cartridge cooling fans failure to turn

Trouble detection condition	The fan lock signal remains HIGH for a predetermined continuous period of time while the fan is turning.
Trouble isolation	–
Relevant electrical parts	• Toner cartridge cooling fan (FM8) • MFP board (MFPB)

 Procedure

1. Check the connector between FM8-relay CN522-MFPB CN24E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
2. Check the fan for possible overload and correct as necessary.
3. FM8 operation check
   • Control signal: MFPB CN24E-4 (DRIVE), MFPB CN24E-6 (LOCK)
   • Location of electrical component: 1-K
4. Replace FM8. (Part# 4556M10000)
5. MFPB F6E conduction check
6. Replace MFPB. (Part# A796H02003)
