Trouble typeC5358: Fusing power supply cooling fan failure to turn

Trouble detection conditionThe fan lock signal remains Low for a predetermined continuous period of time while the fan is turning.
Trouble isolation–
Relevant electrical parts– Fusing power supply cooling fan (FM10)
– CPU board (CPUB)
– Base board (BASEB)

Procedure

  1. Check the connector between FM9-relay CN333-BASEB CN23E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  2. Check the fan for possible overload and correct as necessary.
  3. Check CPUB for proper installation and correct as necessary.
  4. FM10 load check
    • Check code: 42
    • Multi code: 27
    • Control signal: BASEB CN23E-10 (REM), BASEB CN23E-12 (LOCK)
    • Location of electrical component: 10-K
  5. Replace FM10.
  6. Replace CPUB.
  7. BASEB F6E conduction check.
  8. Replace BASEB.
