Trouble typeC5363: Tacking fan failure to turn (When FS-533+MK-607 is installed) (bizhub 550i/450i)

Trouble detection conditionThe fan lock signal remains Low for a predetermined continuous period of time while the fan is turning.
Trouble isolation–
Relevant electrical parts-Paper exit cooling fan (FM23)
-Expansion control board (EXCB)
-CPU board (CPUB)
-Base board (BASEB)

Procedure

  1. Check the connector between EXCB CN2EX-BASEB CN12E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  2. Check the connector between FM23-relay CN710-EXCB CN15EX for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  3. Check the fan for possible overload and correct as necessary.
  4. Check CPUB for proper installation and correct as necessary.
  5. FM23 load check
    • Check code: 42
    • Multi code: 21, 22
    • Control signal: EXCB CN15EX-4 (REM), EXCB CN15EX-6 (LOCK)
    • Location of electrical component: 26-X
  6. Replace FM23. (Part# 9313130051)
  7. Replace EXCB. (Part# AC74H00501)
  8. Replace CPUB.
    650i/550i (Part# AC74H02P03)
    450i (Part# AC76H02P02)
  9. Replace BASEB. (Part# AC74H02101)
