Trouble typeC5370: Machine rear side cooling fan’s failure to turn

Trouble detection conditionThe fan lock signal remains HIGH for a predetermined continuous period of time while the fan is turning.
Trouble isolation–
Relevant electrical parts• Machine rear side cooling fan (FM3)
• MFP board (MFPB)

 Procedure

  1. Check the connector between FM3-relay CN301-MFPB CN19 for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  2. Check the fan for possible overload and correct as necessary.
  3. FM3 operation check
    • Control signal: MFPB CN19-3 (LOCK), MFPB CN19-4 (REM)
    • Location of electrical component: 2-O
  4. Replace FM3. (Part# A0EDM10500)
  5. Replace MFPB. (658e/558e Part# AA6RH02103 / 458e Part# AA6UH02101)
