Trouble typeC5501: AC signal abnormality

Trouble detection conditionThe zero cross signal is not input during fusing phase control.
Trouble isolation–
Relevant electrical parts• Fusing unit
• Fusing power supply (FUPU) (bizhub C458 only)
• DC power supply (DCPU)
• MFP board (MFPB)

 Procedure

  1. Check the fusing unit for correct installation (whether it is secured in position).
  2. Check the fusing unit, FUPU, DCPU, and MFPB for proper connection and correct or change as necessary.
  3. Replace the fusing unit. (bizhub C658/C558 / bizhub C458)
  4. Replace MFPB. (C458 Part# A79MH02102 / C558 or C658 Part # A79JH02102)
  5. Replace FUPU. (bizhub C458 only) (Part# A79MM40N00)
  6. Replace DCPU. (Part# A79JR70000)
