Trouble typeC7111: Tray 1 lift-up motor failure

Trouble detection conditionAfter starting the motor, an error is detected for the malfunction detection signal.
Trouble isolationTray 1
Relevant electrical parts– Tray 1 lift-up motor (M6)
– Paper feed/transport drive board (PFTDB)

Procedure

  1. Check the connector between M6-PFTDB CN25 for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  2. Check the connector of M6 for proper drive coupling and correct as necessary.
  3. M6 conduction check
    • Control signal: PFTDB CN25-10 (REM)
    • Location of electrical component: 3-X
  4. Replace M6.
  5. Replace PFTDB.
