Trouble typeC7166: Toner cartridge motor/K failure

Trouble detection conditionAfter starting the motor, an error is detected for the malfunction detection signal.
Trouble isolation–
Relevant electrical parts– Toner cartridge motor/K (M14)
– Base board (BASEB)

Procedure

  1. Check the connector between M14-relay CN321-relay CN428-BASEB CN19E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  2. Check the connector of M14 for proper drive coupling and correct as necessary.
  3. M14 conduction check.
    • Control signal: BASEB CN19E-1 to 4
    • Location of electrical component: 2-K
  4. Replace M14.
  5. Replace BASEB.
