Trouble detection conditionThe wrong model of firmware is detected in the MFP board when the main power switch is turned ON.The machine type information (Machine, Type) registered to the machine differs from the actual machine type.
Trouble isolation–
Relevant electrical partseMMC board (eMMC)MFP board (MFPB)

Procedure

  1. Check the ROM version.
  2. Check the machine type information registered and reenter as necessary. For details the machine information, see Procedure.
  3. Rewrite the firmware.
  4. Replace eMMC.
  5. Replace MFPB. ( Part# A796H02015 )
  6. If the above actions do not solve the problem, contact KM.

NOTE • Contact Konica Minolta technical support if the eMMC board needs to be replaced.
