Trouble typeCC164: ROM contents error (MSC)

Trouble detection condition• The wrong model of firmware is detected in the MFP board when the main power switch is turned ON.
• The machine type information (Machine, Type) registered to the machine differs from the actual machine type.
Trouble isolation–
Relevant electrical parts• MFP board (MFPB)
• eMMC board (eMMC)

Procedure

  1. Check the ROM version.
  2. Check the machine type information registered and reenter as necessary.
  3. For details the machine information, see â??Entering the machine type informationâ??.
  4. Rewrite the firmware.
  5. Replace MFPB. (bizhub 368/308 / bizhub 558/458)(558 Part# A9HGH02102 / 458 Part# A9HHH02102 / 368/308 Part# A9HJH02102)
  6. Replace eMMC. (bizhub 368/308 / bizhub 558/458)EMMc NOTE Contact Konica Minolta technical support if the eMMC board needs to be replaced.
