Trouble typeCC164: ROM contents error (MSC)

Trouble detection condition-The wrong model of firmware is detected in the MFP board when the main power switch is turned ON.
-The machine type information (Machine, Type) registered to the machine differs from the actual machine type.
Trouble isolation–
Relevant electrical parts-eMMC board (eMMCB)
-MFP board (MFPB)

 Procedure

  1. Check the ROM version.
  2. Check the machine type information registered and reenter as necessary. For details the machine information, see Entering the machine type information.
  3. Rewrite the firmware.
  4. Replace eMMCB. (Part# A7AHH02D02)
  5. Replace MFPB. (Part# A8JEH02002)
  6. If the above actions do not solve the problem, contact KM.
