Trouble detection conditionbizhub C658/C558
• Detected temperature of the heating roller temperature sensor1 (TEMS/1) does not go up a given range of temperature even after a lapse of given period of time at warm up.
• The temperature detected by the heating roller temperature sensor1 (TEMS/1) does not shift from the pre-standby state or the post-print color printing-enable wait state even after the lapse of a predetermined period of time after the completion of warm-up.

• Detected temperature of the heating roller thermistor1 (TH1) does not go up a given range of temperature even after a lapse of given period of time at warm up.
• The temperature detected by the heating roller thermistor1 (TH1) does not shift from the pre-standby state or the post-print color printing-enable wait state even after the lapse of a predetermined period of time after the completion of warm-up.
Trouble isolation–
Relevant electrical parts• Fusing unit
• bizhub C658/C558: Heating roller temperature sensor1 (TEMS/1)
• bizhub C458: Heating roller thermistor1 (TH1)DC power supply (DCPU)
• MFP board (MFPB)

 Procedure

  1. Check the fusing unit for correct installation (whether it is secured in position).
  2. Check the open/close operation of the right door.
  3. Check the fusing unit, DCPU, and MFPB for proper connection and correct or change as necessary.
  4. Replace the fusing unit. (bizhub C658/C558 Part# A79JR71066/ bizhub C458 Part# A79MR70222)
  5. Replace MFPB. (C458 Part# A79MH02102 / C558 or C658 Part # A79JH02102)
  6. Replace DCPU. (Part# A79JR70000)
