Trouble typeC3425: Fusing warm-up trouble

Trouble detection condition-After warm-up operation starts, the heating roller temperature sensor/1 (TEMS1) does not detect a temperature increasing to a predetermined one though a predetermined period of time has elapsed.
-From the start of warm-up operation, it does not terminate within a predetermined period of time.
Trouble isolation–
Relevant electrical parts-Fusing unit
-Heating roller temperature sensor/1 (TEMS1)
-IH power supply unit (IHPU)
-Noise filter (NF1)
-MFP board (MFPB)

 Procedure

  1. Check the fusing unit for correct installation (whether it is secured in position).
  2. Check the open/close operation of the upper right door.
  3. Check the connector between TEMS1-relay CN512-MFPB CN31E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  4. Check the connector between NF1 CN1-CN1AC for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  5. Check the connector between NF1 CN2-IHPU CN1 for proper connection and correct as necessary. (Japan and Taiwan model only)
  6. Check the connector between NF1 CN3-MFPB CN29E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  7. Check the connector between IHPU CN6-MFPB CN26E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  8. Replace the fusing unit. (Part# A8JER70222)
  9. Replace IHPU. (Part# A8KNM40A02)
  10. Replace NF1. (Part# A795M40J00)
  11. Replace MFPB. (Part# A8JEH02002)
