Trouble typeC3310: Output tray exhaust fan failure to turn

Trouble detection conditionThe fan lock signal remains HIGH for a predetermined continuous period of time while the fan is turning.
Trouble isolation–
Relevant electrical parts-Output tray exhaust fan (FM18)
-Process drive board (PDB)

 Procedure

  1. Check the connector between FM18-relay CN701-PDB CN9 for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  2. Check the fan for possible overload and correct as necessary.
  3. FM18 load check
    • Check code: 42
    • Multi code: 25
    • Control signal: PDB CN9-9 (DRIVE), PDB CN9-11 (LOCK)
    • Location of electrical component: 19-P
  4. Replace FM18. (Part# A0P0M14200)
  5. PDB F3 conduction check
  6. Replace PDB. (Part# A8JEH00400)
