Trouble detection conditionC3101:
– The fusing pressure home sensor (PS59) is not turned ON (pressed) even after the lapse of a predetermined period of time after the pressure operation of the pressure roller has started.

– The fusing pressure home sensor (PS59) is not turned ON (pressed) when the pressure operation of the pressure roller is complete.
Trouble isolationC3103:
– The fusing pressure home sensor (PS59) is not turned OFF (retracted) even after the lapse of a predetermined period of time after the retraction operation of the pressure roller has started.

– The fusing pressure home sensor (PS59) is not turned OFF (retracted) when the retraction operation of the pressure roller is complete.

– Fusing pressure home sensor (PS59)
– Fusing pressure motor (M29)
– CPU board (CPUB)
– Base board (BASEB)

Procedure

  1. Check the connector between M29-BASEB CN62E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  2. Check the connector of M29 for proper drive coupling and correct as necessary.
  3. Check the connector between the fusing unit-relay CN807-BASEB CN30E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  4. Check CPUB for proper installation and correct as necessary.
  5. PS59 I/O check
    • Control signal: BASEB CN30E-9 (ON)
    • Location of electrical component: 8-C
  6. M29 load check
    • Check code: 45
    • Multi code: 7, 8, 9
    • Control signal: BASEB CN62E-1 to 4
    • Location of electrical component: 8-K
  7. Replace M29.
  8. Replace the fusing unit.
  9. Replace CPUB.
  10. BASEB F16E conduction check.
  11. Replace BASEB.
