Trouble typeC3102: Heating roller failure to turn

Trouble detection conditionBoth or either of the hard latch signals of the heating roller rotation latch detection 1 and the heating roller rotation latch detection 2 turn ON in a state other than printing.
Trouble isolation–
Relevant electrical parts– Fusing unit
– Fusing motor (M30)
– CPU board (CPUB)
– Base board (BASEB)

Procedure

  1. Check the fusing unit for correct installation (whether it is secured in position).
  2. Check the open/close operation of the right upper door.
  3. Check the coupling status of the fusing unit and the fusing drive section, and correct as necessary.
  4. Check the connector between M30-BASEB CN16E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  5. Check the connector of M30 for proper drive coupling and correct as necessary.
  6. Check the connector between the fusing unit-relay CN807-BASEB CN30E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  7. Check CPUB for proper installation and correct as necessary.
  8. M30 load check
    • Check code: 45
    • Multi code: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
    • Control signal: BASEB CN16E-5 (REM), BASEB CN16E-2 (LOCK)
    • Location of electrical component: 8-K
  9. Replace M30.
  10. Replace the fusing unit.
  11. Replace CPUB.
  12. Replace BASEB.
