Trouble typeC4301: PH cooling fan failure to turn

Trouble detection conditionThe fan lock signal remains HIGH for a predetermined continuous period of time while the fan is turning.
Trouble isolation–
Relevant electrical parts– PH cooling fan (FM14)
– PH relay board (PHRYB)
– CPU board (CPUB)
– Base board (BASEB)

Procedure

  1. Check the connector between FM14-relay CN202-PHRYB CN4 for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  2. Check the fan for possible overload and correct as necessary.
  3. Check CPUB for proper installation and correct as necessary.
  4. FM14 load check
    • Check code: 42
    • Multi code: 20, 21
    • Control signal: PHRYB CN4-8 (REM), PHRYB CN4-9 (LOCK)
    • Location of electrical component: 6-B
  5. Replace FM14.
  6. PHRYB F2 conduction check.
  7. Replace PHRYB.
  8. Replace CPUB.
  9. Replace BASEB.
