Trouble typeC5351: DC power supply cooling fan failure to turn

Trouble detection conditionThe fan lock signal remains HIGH for a predetermined continuous period of time while the fan is turning.
Trouble isolation–
Relevant electrical parts– DC power supply cooling fan (FM9)
– DC power supply unit/1 (DCPU/1)
– CPU board (CPUB)
– Base board (BASEB)

Procedure

  1. Check the connector between FM9-relay CN333-BASEB CN23E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  2. Check the fan for possible overload and correct as necessary.
  3. Check CPUB for proper installation and correct as necessary.
  4. FM9 load check
    • Check code: 42
    • Multi code: 9, 10
    • Control signal: BASEB CN23E-7 (REM), BASEB CN23E-9 (LOCK)
    • Location of electrical component: 9-K
  5. Replace FM9.
  6. Replace DCPU/1.
  7. Replace CPUB.
  8. BASEB F6E conduction check.
  9. Replace BASEB.
