Trouble typeC7304: Toner cartridge cooling fan/1 failure

Trouble detection conditionAfter starting the fan, an error is detected for the malfunction detection signal.
Trouble isolation–
Relevant electrical parts– Toner cartridge cooling fan/1 (FM8)
– Base board (BASEB)

Procedure

  1. Check the connector between FM8-relay CN522-BASEB CN24E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
  2. Check the connector of FM8 for proper drive coupling and correct as necessary.
  3. FM8 conduction check.
    • Control signal: BASEB CN24E-1 (REM), BASEB CN24E-3 (LOCK)
    • Location of electrical component: 1-K
  4. Replace FM8.
  5. Replace BASEB.
